Kristin shows up to meet the owner Gray Lowry. He is a harsh man until Kirstin gets to know him. What she wasn't expecting was a handsome boss. Gray wasn't expecting such a beautiful woman. Together they help heal each other along the way but will it be enough for their relationship to work?The author did a wonderful job with the setting. During the read you felt like you were with Kirstin in the snow or in the lodge with her pup Pupin. The characters were well developed and intriguing. I was taken in from the very beginning. I wanted Kristin to grow and become a better person and with Gray she did. Along with Gray growing to love again. His daughter Laurie was a nice touch and loved how everyone treated her. The story takes you away and that is the best part about this book. Before you know it the book is over.
I would love to read more by this author.

Amelia takes refuge in an abandon stable and is upset at her mom over forcing her to get married with out love. She is found by John, Lord Hascot and he tries to help but is a bit standoffish. He knows since she spent the night he has to do the right thing by offering her his hand. She refuses and goes back to her mom.John doesn't want another love the one he had married his older twin brother and broke his heart. All he wants is to tend to his horses that is what he loves and understands them. He is summoned by Amelia's father and given an ultimatum to marry her.
They marry and what begins a long road for Amelia to wedge herself into his heart and wants him to care for her like he does his horses.
The characters are well done and the setting is remarkable. The story takes the reader in and you want to see these two become a wonderful couple and work things out. John takes a lot of work but it is worth it in the end. The twits that his ex-finance throws in makes you want to smack her silly. I loved it and I think others will too.

I love this series. Cora Seton knows how to write a great story. Jake is the oldest of the Matheson brothers. Hannah is Bella's helper at the vet in town. All of Hannah's friends are married to great guys and evener boos is about to get married to a great guy thanks to her. She helped Bella get on a TV reality show and win enough money to keep her vet practice going and met a great man as well. Hannah wants to become a vet as well and has to take classes. Now that she broke up with her boyfriend she can concentrate on that and forget men in general.Jake has always like Hannah from afar. She was always with her boyfriend and he never had a chance. Now they have a chance and he wants to see where it goes. They get thrown together with some help Hannah has 14 days to see what can happen but if that going to be enough to see where these two go?
Another great book in this series. The author has a way with getting you sucked into the story to see where things go. You get to hear more of past characters you have read and about and meet a few news ones along the way. There is never a dull moment in any of the books.
