Maggie asked me to read her book and let me tell you how excited I was to read it. Marguerite her sisters Penelope and Winifred are sent to their Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle John's to try and find husbands during the London season. Their father makes a list of what men they should seek out as he wants them to be rich. Archibald Wiggins has pawned or sold off everything they had even the house they were living in. They were happy to go to their aunts house as their cousin Samantha was engaged and going to be married soon. Marguerite wants to fulfill her dream of marrying the Duke of Wallingford. When they get to the house they see Mr. Ashton James whom they met on the train on the way to their aunts house. Marguerite or Meggie as Mr James calls her, does not care for him in the least. He is their new chaperon while the girls are in London. The story gets really interesting at this point. There are a few sub plots that keep you interested in the book. Marguerite has to over come several osbsticals when she starts realizing she has now two men she wants or thinks she wants and not sure what to do. Her sisters are all engaged and about to be married what will happen to Marguerite?
