An amazing read. Mubu is 6 years old in this book and helps her grandfather as his little animal doctor. He brings home a baby Gibbon that has an injury to her hand. Mubu takes care of her and like most children, when it is time for the Gibbon to go back to her home in the forest, Mubu was upset. A wonderful story to teach children the importance of taking care of animals/pets. I like the fact that at the of the book they show pictures of Gibbons and give more information about them. My kids enjoyed learning about the different types of Gibbons and the pictures.
