Wish You Were Here
Alison is about to marry Seth, they have been together for 6 years and the time has come to take the next step. He doesn't care for the flowers nor her wedding dress for that matter. Seth is very controlling we learn early on. When he brother comes for the wedding he gives a farewell kiss to Alison. Daniel and Alison soon turn that kiss to a passionate kiss. Alison thinks and heads down the opposite end of the aisle towards Daniel and they leave. Alison works through some things. I won't give them away, but the overall story is a nice loving story. The characters are well-formed and the setting is remarkable. There are some things towards the end of the story that just happen without any explanation. I would have liked to know how Alison worked though them.
A great debut novel for the author. I will be looking for more.
