Jeremiah is recovering from a car accident. Cindy who is a church secretary comes to inform Jeremiah that is the man who caused the accident has been murdered. Cindy knows she can help the police, but Jeremiah is determined not to get involved. Jeremiah goes with the campers to the woods and when the lake starts rising things start to happen. This book is not a stand alone read. There are some instances where things are referenced form before but you can get confused, lost or not understand. I would highly recommend you read the first 2 books before this one.
