My 2 Cents:
This was a fun read for my 7 year old son and me. It helps he loves cow and chocolate milk. His 2 favorite things so, when I was asked to review this book, I was happy to do it. Not only did he learn how oats, grass and grains help a cow make milk he also learned the process from cow to the actual milk in the stores. It was a nice teaching aid when kids do want to know some answers. The part I like the most the author keeps emits a wonderful tone through out the book. She does not talk down to the kids. I hope there will be more books with Allison. The end of the book left us wondering from her father, is the moon really made of cheese? My 7 year old says no but wants to find out!
